Equally important is the fact that the long-term restorative action you give not only your skin, but your entire body, will stay with you longer than the best lotion.

A visit to the drugstore

Once you’ve ensured that your skin is regenerating from the inside out, it’s time to think about external skin care. Every skin type needs cosmetics specifically tailored to it. Unfortunately, you need to pay attention to the fact that we do not use specifics intended for other skin, because we can worsen its condition. The drugstore should be a place where you go for thoughtful shopping. Take care not only to buy cream for dry skin. Great help in moisturizing it coarse-grained scrubs, through which you can exfoliate dead skin, and then a short – dry skin does not like too long contact with hot water! – bath with the addition of oils or bath balls based on them. In this way, you will quickly and deeply nourish your skin, which will significantly affect its quality. When you go shopping at the drugstore, read the ingredients of products. The right cream for dry skin does not have to mean that it is! Check if it contains vitamin B3, thermal or distilled water, or paraffin in cases where your skin is very irritated due to dryness. Buying the right products, even if they cost more, will save you money in the long run. This is because you will restore your skin’s radiance and hydration faster with a quality product.

Rest for your skin

After a tiring day, you’re not the only one who deserves a moment of relaxation. Your skin gets tired, too. During the day, it is a good idea to let your skin rest, for example by using an atomised mist that can also be applied over make-up. This will give your skin the relief and hydration it needs, especially when it is covered in makeup and the days are getting hotter. Masks are also an excellent form of regeneration and hydration. Remember to apply them after exfoliation, which will peel off the dry layer of the epidermis, so that the nutrients from the mask can penetrate the skin layer more effectively. Pay attention if the composition includes such herbs as borage, ginkgo biloba or calendula, which have a cleansing and moisturizing effect. Collagen and elastin are also great for moisturizing masks, thanks to their ability to hold water molecules – and they also have anti-wrinkle benefits!
